Entrepreneurship In Floriculture

This project provides interested volunteers to learn and practice diverse strategies and skills required to manage a successful floriculture project in their countries as a hobby or a successful business when arrival back to their home country.

The project you are undertaking volunteering in floriculture is managed by women who produce attractive roses and other flowers direct to the local and import market. During your volunteer period in Sri Lanka for 3 months Nagenahiru Volunteerss will confidence that you will be able to learn and understand all aspects including managing nurseries, growing flowers and packaging for exports and creating market linkages etc. which facilitate to be a successful career in the floral industry in your home country one day in future.

During your volunteer period in Sri Lanka the owner and the staff of the floriculture farm will provide you all necessary education, training and develop your skills as to change your present career diverts towards to be a successful entrepreneur in the field of floriculture. While you will be in the path to entrepreneurship in the flower industry. By giving your time and energy to help others, you make a difference in your community and develop skills essential to being a successful entrepreneur.
